Attic spaces are often awkward with their sloped ceilings, small footprints. Some extra special space planning was need and luckily .. space planning is one of our favorite stages of a design project and we feel it’s the most important aspect of the design process.

In this case, we worked with clients De & Darren to replace their single vanity with a double vanity, include a socker tub overlooking their urban and ocean view, a tiled shower, and wall of built-in closet cabinetry. We eliminated a wall between their existing closet and ensuite to open up views, sunlight and increase closet storage space. The flow is much improved, and the room glows with natural light.

This ensuite is now finished in layers of white pattern and texture, eucalyptus green and mint are incorporated for a tranquil spa-like ensuite haven.
